SHOPPING CENTER WITH UNDERGROUND PARKING NEAR THE CENTRAL RAILWAY STATION IN KHARKIV

The project is a modern shopping complex with a two-level underground parking lot, which will be connected to the station building via underground and overhead pedestrian crossings, part of which is also proposed to be connected to the shopping center. The surrounding area, including part of the station square, will be reconstructed into a modern public space with developed pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, green areas and recreation areas.

1. It creates a new center of attraction for residents of the surrounding areas and creates a kind of “waiting room” for Ukrzaliznytsia passengers;
2. The construction of an underground parking lot will allow for a complete reconstruction of a part of the station area, removing the existing parking lot. This will ensure the creation of a centralized area for passengers to disembark/embark by civil and public transport;
3. The marginal territory formed by chaotically located kiosks will turn into a full-fledged public space with a developed pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure;
4. Designing the facility to meet new security requirements: underground parking, passageways, shelters, warning systems, etc.
